1. The Assistant Credit Risk Analytics Manager is responsible for supporting Regional Head of Wholesale Monitoring, Data and Innovation / Head of Global Risk Analytics in the development and validation of wholesale Credit models, the related analytics support in Asia Pacific.
2. In addition to the regional responsibilities, the job holder should also ensure global consistency in the development, implementation, and monitoring of wholesale credit methodology, policies and systems.
3. The role holder is also expected to provide both consultation and support on other risk analytics such as (but not limited to) IRB modelling, Stress Testing, IFRS9 and Economic Capital across key customer groups to build shareholder value and profitability and to protect employees, assets and reputation of the HSBC Group.

1. Degree holder or above in Finance, Mathematics, Risk Management, Statistics or a related field.
2. Have a good understanding of credit (PD/EAD/LGD) modelling, in particular within the wholesale environment.
3. Experienced in banking industry, including experience in Risk and in a business line (preferably corporate).
4. Prefer to have a hands on experience in stress testing and Basel modelling and validation
5. Prefer to have experience in Basel and HKMA regulatory capital rules.
6. Experienced in supplier chain financing and related performance risk management would be an significant add-on.
7. Able to work in a dynamic and multinational culture and cope with high pressure.
8. Sound knowledge in statistics and solid analytical skills.
9. Strong technical background with excellent communication and project management skills
10. Hands on experience in Python, SAS or any programming language. Experience in using Tableau would be an added advantage.
11. Capable to conduct statistical analysis independently.
12. Any interest and/or experience in the latest industry development such as an understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques would be desirable.
